All right! After many weeks of writing and re-writing, including totally throwing out a way-too-convoluted first draft, the 6,000-word outline for the ZCD novel is complete, from start to finish. Ten chapters, one for each musical track, and an Epilogue that I added on without any “musical guidance” that I think will give the reader a nice glimpse into the true ending of the story.
The “skeleton” for the story is now in place; I know exactly what I want to write, where I want the story to go, and the major nuances of the over-arching story line. No I just have to add some “meat” to the skeleton by writing the actual chapters! That process has already begun, as Chapter 1 is underway.
